Last year glamour model India (left) sent us some beautiful photographs from her portfolio with a view to some possible commissions and we couldn't help noticing the striking man posing alongside her in a few of the pictures. This therefore is Mark who turned out to be India's husband of five years.
Solo Debut
At the age of
thirty-eight Mark is our oldest model here at The Full English and we
did toy with putting him on our sister site - "My Best Friend's Dad"
(he is a real-life daddy too) however with his super handsome face and
his worked-out trim body he looks so much younger than his years and
certainly puts alot of guys half his age to shame. Recently he started
posing with his wife and their joint portfolio has expanded along with
regular work offers and they are now beginning to make a full time
living from their new career; Mark is now even being approached by male-only
website production companies.
Humble Roots
Mark says he never dreamed he would be working in the glamour business; sure when he was young many girls would stroke his thick almost black mane and say he could be a 'top model' but good looking working class lads from the North like him would have had no access to such industries back in the eighties. At sixteen he was working on the railways with his father; he then became a hod carrier (that's carrying the bricks) for the bricklayers on the building sites. His responsibilities as a builder grew until he was directing the enormous cranes that towered over his city.
Broken Noses
We know Mark was a very naughty boy before he met his lovely wife and we are still trying to extract some interesting stories for a future profile but he remains nervous of what his wife may say when she hears them...
Mark has a really great face for a photographer; more often than not most people have slightly different profiles to their face (we all know our good and bad sides) but boys with broken noses usually have two extremely distinct looks which is exactly the case with Mark's bashed nose. We have used a bit of old fashioned Hollywood lighting to bring out the soft and hard side of Mark's amazing face - we think he has three faces in fact...
Pre-wedding shoot
We caught India and Mark in their glad rags just before they headed to a country wedding. Mark found it amusing that a photographer could be just as interested in shooting him as much his wife and was certainly not used to being the centre of attention. You'll see how much India enjoys showing off the man she absolutely adores; at first she has trouble getting him away from his lap-top but after arousing him with kisses she gleefully shows us the bits of her husband that really make her smile. The fired up Mark soon becomes very focussed and before we know it we have a very different kind of shoot on our hands.
